1.   Platform

To use the soak bed, you will lie on a solid platform. It will then gently lower you into the water and then lift you back up after your session ends.​

2.    Mobility aid step

We have a step with a handle available to help support you onto and out of the bed if needed.

3. Emergency and stop buttons

We have an emergency button in the room that you can press and it will alert a member of staff.

 

You will also have access to the tablet at all times during your session. This will allow you to change the bed lights and bring the platform up at anytime you wish to do so.

4. Steps and ramps

There is one step up into reception from street level and we do not currently have a ramp.
 

We have a flight of stairs with handrails up to the toilet.​​​​​​​​​​​​​

The back entrance of SOAK onto the first floor has two steps coming off Broad Street and them a slope.
